Two ageing actresses (Millie and Addie) sit in the dressing room, as they prepare for the final performance of a gripping play.
When they receive news that a mutual ’old flame’ is in the audience, new hopes, old hostilities and passions are stirred. Perhaps this could be the turning point that they have both longer for?
Then, as curtain up approaches, Addie is struck by a mysterious illness and Millie, as understudy, must take her place.
An intruiging and gripping who-dunnit.
