Two ageing actresses (Millie and Addie) sit in the dressing room, as they prepare for the
final performance of a gripping play.  They indulge in a light-heated banter,
that reveals the closely entwined lives they have led until now.

When they receive news that their mutual ex-husband is in the theatre, new hopes, old hostilities
and passions are stirred.  Perhaps this could be a turning point,
the new start that they have both longer for?

Then, as curtain up approaches, Addie is struck by a mysterious illness and Millie, as understudy,
must take her place.
As events unfold, all their futures are changed in ways they could not have foreseen

An intriguing and gripping who-dunnit with a hint of comedy!
