Introduction
Up

by Guy Paxton and Edward V. Hoile

Set in a remote West Country cottage, where Charles Pentwick has taken refuge after being falsely accused of infidelity by his wife, this somewhat eccentric farce set in the early 1950's had audiences in hysterics.  It was great fun to perform as well.

When Charles' wife finds out she has made a mistake she hurries to her husbands side.  Unfortunately in the meantime the lady who caused the original misunderstanding has also arrived (with poodle) to apologise.  To add to the potential for upset, the elderly housekeeper at the cottage has turned out to be an attractive young girl.  Caught unawares Charles tries to avoid further problems......

Production staged May 12th,13th and 14th 2005 in Loddon Hall.

Directed by Neil Tyler and produced by Ron Brown.
