A play by Bob Larbey

Bob Larbey is a well known drama writer, having co-written many comedy series for television, including The Good Life, Please Sir and Ever Decreasing Circles. He has also written many radio and stage plays.

This is a gentle comedy centred around two couples, Stan and Bernice Billet and William and Margaret Patterson, whose cosy little world of beach hut holidays is unexpectedly disturbed when Doug and his nubile nieces arrive.

They have rented the adjacent beach hut and don’t give a hoot for beach hut protocol. Especially when it gets in the way of having a good time.

We thoroughly enjoyed staging this production and our audiences were very complimentary.   We would strongly recommend it to any amateur group.   Many thanks must go to Richard Coleman who designed a simple yet highly effective set and to Val Aves for her direction of the cast.
