That Good Night

Performed in May 2002, this was the story of a successful playwright, Ralph, who finds he is terminally ill. Having always had his way in life, he now wants just two things. He wants to be sure that his passing will not be a burden on his young wife, Anna., and also to be reconciled with his long lost son Michael
His plan goes awry when he first argues with his son Michael's girlfriend and then finds that the 'visitor', whose services he has hired for a painless end, is not all he seems.
Set in a Spanish villa, this is a moving and thought provoking play. Locally it that won much praise for the portrayal of Ralph by Mike Higgins and for its superbly detailed and authentic set.
