The pantomime for 2002 was Aladdin.
Although one of the traditional pantomime stories,
it is less frequently performed than many and had not been done by the
Group for some time.
As is usual, we staged a gala performance for local disadvantaged and disabled children, in coordination with the local Rotary club.

We had some new faces in the line up for this show, both in
principal roles and in the chorus. The show was a huge hit with our audiences
For the second year running, we went into direct competition with the Hexagon in Reading, who chose the same
story for their pantomime. Of course they didn't stand a chance!
